So good every time. Our favorite restaurant in the city. Sit at the sushi bar if you can. Chef Yonten is incredible to watch. Highly recommend a chef’s choice sashimi. Also the Walnut St roll is my favorite sushi roll I’ve ever had. I get it every time. The front of house staff are all amazing and so nice. If you want a refreshing Japanese cocktail, ask Pia to make you one of her specialties. Amazing!

I've been to Umami 5 times in the last year. Every time a foodie friend comes to town or if I'm celebrating something special, Umami is the first place that comes to mind. It is a must. It's a true gem in a city that has a big food culture and 100s of amazing restaurants. Do yourself a favor and sit at the sushi bar. Skip all of the dragon, spicy salmon, and shrimp tempura rolls and go straight to the sushi bar. Do the 9 piece premium sushi menu and order one of the steak options. I recommend the rib eye. To say that everything is so good is an understatement. All I can say is go!
